Excavation and Relining

If you need to replace all or part of your drain, Medway Drain Services are able to help with our excavation or relining techniques. Drains do get damaged from time to time, due to possible ground movement, subsidence or root interference. In these cases, simply unblocking the drain will only provide a temporary fix. Instead, you need to replace your drain.

Excavation involves digging out the existing, faulty drain and replacing it with a brand new shiny drain. Unfortunately, you probably won’t get to appreciate it’s beauty for long as our engineers will soon bury it and return the ground to it’s original state. However, at least you know you have a brand new, super strong drain that will not be leaking any time soon.

Drain relining is a process which involve us fitting a new pipe within your existing pipe. Drain ‘inversion’ allows us to repair your pipe quickly and easily, whilst at the same time saving you time and money. Drains are cleaned inside before the new pipe is put in place, and this technique allows us to repair small sections of pipe which may otherwise require a full excavation.
